For the faithful, Tenebrae is a solemn series of services over three days, bringing our hearts one with Jesus on the last days before His crucifixion. Using ancient reflections and meditations, we quiet our hearts.
Tenebrae is the Latin word for darkness and alludes to the darkness that was over all the land from the sixth to the ninth hour on Good Friday. If we have entered in the smallest degree into the desolation of our Lord, Tenebrae will have done its work.
